We also want to contribute to less waste – of both food and resources. From the outset, we focused on developing tempting thaw-and-serve products. The thaw-and-serve model has the advantage that it makes it easy to serve freshly baked items, while minimizing food waste.
We can also help identify other focus areas where it is possible to reduce waste and resource usage. For example, we can advise store personnel in relation to optimizing procedures, more intelligent storage and on baking with the aim of reducing waste. The benefits are better environmental performance, less food waste and financial savings.
